What do I need to build a Web
site?
To own a SME WEB site, you actually do not need anything
(even a computer), however, if you want to be able to
update your website and collect your e-mails from home,
we recommend you have the following computer equipment:

Windows 95, 98, NT, or 2000
Internet Explorer v 5.0 or higher
- Hardware:
IBM compatible system
Minimum Pentium 166MHz Processor
Minimum 64 MB RAM
In order to build your SME WEB site you will need Microsoft
Internet Explorer 5 or higher. There's no technical
skills required. With the SME WEB tools at hand just
point and click your mouse to choose from our professionally
pre-designed template selections.
From their on you can enter and layout and change your
web site content as you please.

How long will it take me to build
my Web site?
It's up to you. You can quickly create a Web site in minutes,
then update it later when you have time. Best of all,
this can be done at your own convenience, and maintained
at your leisure.

What is a template?
A Template is a pre-designed professional 'look &
feel' that you can choose from when constructing or updating
your web site. Templates can be applied to the menu, header,
footer and content pages. They include intricate page
layouts, interactive menu's, and unique font and color
schemes.

Am I able to modify my web page,
once it has been created?
Yes, with SME WEB's simple interface this normally expensive
and difficult exercise can be done at the comfort of your
own PC, simply login and click on the "Edit" button, to
modify or delete any content on your site.

How much do modifications cost
& When do they have to be done?
Modifications are performed by the client, therefore FREE
of charge. They can be done at a time that suits you.

Can I use my own images?
Yes. Our convenient File Upload feature allows you to
upload and use your own images. These include popular
extensions like .gif, .jpg.
Before using images on your site, you must transfer them
from your computer to your SME WEB site. This can be done
by selecting the 'file upload' option in your 'Site Manager'.
Depending on the size of the file you are uploading, the
transfer may take several seconds to finish.
You will then be able to view these images from any Internet-ready
computer.
This makes it easy upload company images such as logos
and maintain consistent company branding.

How many images can I upload?
As many as you want, this is dependent on the size of
each image. There
is a 100k size restriction on each image, and an overall
10 meg restriction on the total amount of images you can
upload to your web site. If this is insufficient, the
'Domain' plan has a total capacity of 15meg.

What are web statistics and how
can they help my business?
Web statistics tell you how many vistors have accessed
your web site.
They also capture many variables including visitor behaviour,
where they came from, pages and duration accessed, key
words & search engines used to find your site.

What are the terms of an SME WEB
contract?
There are no hidden costs, however you should be aware
that you are entering a contract with a minimum term of
twelve months.
A regular plan setup fee of $99 (incl GST) plus the first
twelve months worth of monthly fees at $77 (incl. GST)
per month.
There after the the same monthly fee will apply. The agreement
may be terminated by either party giving one months notice
in writing.
All SME WEB site purchases require an upfront fee. This
fee comprises of 1x setup fee and 1x first month fee.
This is to be paid by credit card/cheque/money order.
The remainder can be directly drawn from your account
on a monthly basis, or paid in advance via credit card/cheque/money
order. Any fees not paid in advance of service will result
in disconnection of the service. A reconnection fee may
apply.

Can I change my plan type?
You are not commited to the product you originally signed
up with.
As long as you honour your contract, you can change
your plan type at any time.

What do I get for my money?
Each plan has a different setup fee, and monthly charge.
Their are also value added services that can be purchased

The monthly fee covers the licensing of the software.
